3B WINE HIGHLIGHTS – Wine hiking in 3B Country
The hiking and wine highlight along the Neckar, Enz and Stromberg
On Sunday, August 13, 2023, the 3B Tourism Team once again invites you to enjoy a wine hike. Under the slogan WINE HIGHLIGHTS, participants can embark on a roughly 15-kilometer circular hike between Bietigheim-Bissingen and Besigheim from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The 15 culinary stops along the route form the WINE HIGHLIGHTS and invite hikers to pause and enjoy some refreshments. Together with two wine cooperatives, 11 independent winegrowers and the Kirchheim fruit hall, the 3B Tourism Team has put together a colorful culinary and entertainment program. At the 15 WINE HIGHLIGHTS, the producers offer a special selection of their products. Food and entertainment are also provided at the stops.

Date and time: Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Location: The hike takes place between Bietigheim-Bissingen and Besigheim in 3B Country (Neckar, Enz and Stromberg).
Hiking route: The circular hike is approximately 15 kilometers long and leads past 15 culinary stops, known as the WINE HIGHLIGHTS.
The event is organized by the 3B Tourism Team in cooperation with two wine cooperatives, 11 independent winegrowers and the Kirchheim fruit hall. At the 15 WINE HIGHLIGHTS, the producers offer a special selection of their wines and products. Food and entertainment are available at the stops.
The hike can be started from various locations, for example at the forester’s lodge in Bietigheim Forest. The hiking route is easily accessible by public transportation. There is also a bus stop and parking nearby. In addition, a free event shuttle runs between the Bietigheim-Bissingen and Besigheim train stations. Various stands offer musical entertainment and hands-on activities, including a photo fun activity, a children’s program and short guided tours of the vineyards. The young winegrower welcomes thirsty and hungry hikers with his wines and spicy currywurst. The information stand of Bär Schuhe is also located here. A brochure with a detailed program overview, hiking route and further information is available at the town halls and tourist information offices or can be downloaded from the website www.3b-tourismus.de. At all WINE HIGHLIGHTS, you can purchase a glass for €2.50, which can be refilled during the hike. A shoulder bag for the glass is available at the stands for €1.50. The event promises a special culinary experience featuring select products from the winegrowers and distilleries amid the picturesque 3B landscape along the Neckar, Enz and Stromberg.
